Alpha Custom Boats

have questions?

What exactly do you do?

We build custom mudboats from the hull up—show builds, work rigs, and everything in between. You tell us the mission, we build the boat to match it.

Both. We do full custom builds, plus hulls/kits and trailers depending on what you need.

Depends on the job. Some work is easy to take on, some isn’t worth doing halfway. Send details and we’ll tell you straight.

Hit “Build Your Boat” and send your basics (use, size, budget range, timeline). We’ll follow up with a couple quick questions and give you a clean quote.

Three things: how you’ll use it (show/work/hunt), your target size, and your budget range. Photos of what you like help too.

It changes with the season and current build queue. Message us and we’ll tell you straight what the timeline looks like right now.

Yes—within reason. The best boats are built for a purpose. Tell us your top priorities and we’ll spec a setup that fits without turning it into a compromised mess.

What kinds of boats do you build?

Showboats, workboats, hunting rigs, and full custom one-offs. If it’s a mudboat and it has a job to do, we can build it.

Showboats prioritize finish and “wow,” while still running hard. Workboats prioritize function—layout, durability, easy-clean, storage, and hardware that gets used, not babied.

Absolutely. That’s the whole point. We’ll help you pick what actually matters for your use, not just what looks cool online.

Yes. If you want to rig it yourself (or you’ve already got parts), we can provide a proven hull or kit route and point you in the right direction.

Yes—road-ready trailers that match the hull correctly so launching and hauling isn’t a constant headache.

Do you ship boats out of state?

Yes. We can coordinate pickup, delivery, or shipping depending on your location and the build.

Yes. Hulls and kits are often the easiest items to ship. We’ll quote shipping based on your location and the exact size.

We’ll plan the safest, simplest option—either customer pickup, freight coordination, or arranged delivery. Every build is different, so we’ll walk you through it.

It depends on distance, size, and whether it’s a hull/kit vs a full rig. We’ll give you a real number once we know your zip code and the build details.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes—our goal is simple: if something isn’t right due to our workmanship, we make it right. Specific coverage depends on the build and components.

Engine/motor warranties are typically handled by the engine manufacturer/builder. We’ll explain exactly what applies to your setup before you commit.

Abuse, crashes, improper maintenance, and “I changed a bunch of stuff after delivery.” We build tough boats, but we can’t warranty physics.

Yes. We don’t just push it out the door and hope. Builds get checked and verified so you’re not sorting problems on your first run.

Reach out. We’d rather answer a quick question early than have you guessing and turning a small issue into a big one.
